Yolanda, Fernando y Bárbara en el centro nuevo

我在2012年11月救國團的西班牙語課遇到Yolanda老師，當時她是位到處兼課的英文和西班牙老師。幾個月之後，我們在交大圖書館的地下室上一對一的西班牙語課，因為沒有自己的地方。在那段時間，Yolanda和瓜地馬拉人Fernando結婚了，在Fernando的幫忙下，我也考過了Dele A1和A2。

I met Yolanda, my Spanish teacher, in November of 2012 at Spanish class of救國團. She was a teacher who was teaching English and Spanish in different places. A few months later, we were having a 1 to 1 class at the basement of the library of National Chiao Tung University because she didn’t have her own place. During that time, Yolanda married Fernando, a Guatemalan, and I passed my Dele A1 and A2 with the help of Fernando.

Encontré a Yolanda, mi profesora de español, en noviembre de 2012 en clase de español de 救國團. Ella era una profesora que enseñaba inglés y español en varios lugares. Después de unos meses, tomaba clase uno a uno en el sótano de la biblioteca de la Universidad Nacional Chiao Tung porque ella no tenía aula propia. Durante aquella época, Yolanda se casó con Fernando, un guatemalteco, y yo pasé mi Dele A1 y A2 con su ayuda.

兩、三個月之後，他們決定在他們的家中授課，成為了他們的第一個課室。他們還可以同時在不同的房間授課。我在2014年9月停止了課程，因為小孩快出生了。他們在那裡開班授課應該超過一年。

After 2 or 3 months, they decided to teach at their apartment, their very first classroom. They could teach in the same time in different rooms. I stopped my class in September of 2014 because my baby was born. They taught there for more than a year perhaps.

當我還在家帶小孩時，在Facebook上看到他們在夢想市創立了一間叫「雲飛」的語言中心，「雲飛」是他們二人的名字組合。我在2016年7月去雲飛繼續上西班牙語課。這個時候，Yolanda更專業了，全面升級。我在那裡上了三年課，看了許多次的蛻變，一直在追求更好的。終於，我在這裡通過了Dele B1。

When I were taking care of my baby at home, I had read from Facebook that they established a language center at夢想市, it was called雲飛 in Chinese, the combination of their names. I went to that center to continue my Spanish class in July of 2016. At that period of time, Yolanda was more professional, everything was in a whole new level. For 3 years I have been studying there, watching many transformation, always wanted to be better. At last, I passed my Dele B1 there.

Cuando yo cuidaba a mi bebé en casa, leí por Facebook que ellos establecieron un centro de lenguas en 夢想市, se llamaba 雲飛 en chino, la combinación de sus nombres. Fui a ese centro para continuar mi clase de español en julio de 2016. En ese período de tiempo, Yolanda ya era más profesional, todos estaban en otro nivel. Por 3 años tomé la clase allí, y veía la transformación muchas veces, siempre querían mejorar. Al final, pasé mi Dele B1 allí.

九月底的時候，Yolanda告訴我他們將在新課室上課，他們在雲智匯開了分校，我有幸成為第一個進入分校的學生。分校的風格非常摩登，和本校非常不同，我很喜歡，又更上一層樓了。我覺得這應該會吸引更多優質的學生。7年來Yolanda成長了很多，從一位到處兼課的老師變成2間中心的老闆。祝她好運！

At the end of September, Yolanda told me that they were going to study in a new classroom. They had established a second center at雲智匯. I was lucky to be the first student entering the new center. The new center is very modern, very different from the other, and I loved it very much. The second center is another whole new level, higher. I think it will attract more students with good quality. For 7 years, Yolanda has grown so much, from a teacher who paid by hours to an owner of 2 centers. Wish her good luck!

Tuve suerte de ser la primera estudiante en entrar en el nuevo centro. Es muy moderno, muy diferente que antés, y me gustó mucho. El segundo centro está en otro nivel, más alto. 每個人都自戀，或多或少，但並不會造成人際關係上的問題。相較之下，自戀者又是另一個故事。如果你家或辦公室中有個自戀者，日子就不會太好過了，甚至是一種折磨。

Every person is narcissistic, more or less, but he/she doesn’t have problem in his/her relationship. In contrast, a narcissist is another story. If you have a narcissist in your family or office, the life is not going to be nice, sometimes it is a torture.

Second, a narcissist thinks always that he/she is a special person, has more rights and deserves something better. For us, share 10 dollars to 10 persons, ‘fair’ is that every person receives 1 dollar. For a narcissist, he/she thinks that he/she deserves to have more than 1 dollar and the others persons divide the rest. That is the ‘fair’ for a narcissist. He/she thinks that he/she has high status and all the people have to obey his/her order, although his/her order is very ridiculous.

一些關於關係的東西／Something about Relationship／Unas Cosas sobre La Relación

在台灣和華社，很多祖父母知道媳婦不是自己的小孩，她們是家人但沒有血緣關係。祖父母和父母競爭與孙子的親近程度時有所聞。對於這類祖父母，他們不信任媳婦，不想和他們有血緣關係的孙子和媳婦，即孙子的媽媽，有親密的關係，更有的，不讓孙子和母方的家人親近。

In Taiwan and Chinese communities, many grandparents have the idea that the daughter-in-laws are not their children. They are members of the family but have no genetic relationship. It’s common that the grandparents compete with the parents for being emotionally much closer with the grandchildren. For this kind of people, they don’t trust their daughter-in-laws. They don’t want their grandchildren, who have genetic relationship with them, to have intimacy with the daughter-in-laws, the mothers of their grandchildren. Moreover, they don’t want their grandchildren to be close to their mothers’ families.

最特別的是有的祖父母會利用托育照顧來佔據孙子，有的，特別是祖母，甚至願意免費照顧孙子。另外，也有很多年輕人認為照顧孙子是祖父母的義務。這反映了很多華人的人我界限不清楚和父母有很大的控制權，即使他們的小孩已經成年。再加上華人很強調血緣，所以對很多人來說，公婆和媳婦很難友好。

The most interesting is that the grandparents occupy the grandchildren by taking care of them. Some grandparents, especially grandmothers, offer to take care of the grandchildren, sometimes for free. Moreover, a lot of the young people think that taking care of the grandchildren is an obligation of the grandparents. This reflects that a lot of Chinese don’t have clear personal boundary and the parents control a lot although the children are adults. Moreover, Chinese emphasize the genetic relationship a lot. So, parents-in-laws and daughter-in-laws are hard to be friends for some people.

El más interesante es que los abuelos ocupan los nietos para cuidarlos. Muchos abuelos, especialmente abuelas, se ofrecen para cuidar a los nietos, a veces, gratis. Además, muchos jovenes creen que cuidar a los nietos es obligación de los abuelos. Eso refleja que muchos chinos no tengan límite personal claro y los padres controlan más aunque los hijos sean adultos. Además, los chinos enfatizan la relación genéticamente mucho. Por eso, suegros y nueras son díficil de ser amigos para mucha gente.

Estar Bien y Estar Bueno

當到了B級時，開始知道同一個句子有不同的意思。最近，我們談到「estar bien」和「estar bueno」。「estar bien」很簡單，意思是「我很好」，而「estar bueno」卻有3個意思：

1. 沒有生病

2. 食物很美味

3. 性感

因此，如果有人問你「¿Cómo estás?」，你要小心回答。

When I reached level B, I started to know there are different meanings with a same phrase. Recently, we talk about ‘estar bien’ and ‘estar bueno’. ‘Estar bien’ is simple, means ‘in good condition’. Meanwhile, ‘estar bueno’ has 3 meanings,

1. not sick

2. the food is delicious

3. sexy

So, if someone asks you: ‘¿Cómo estás?’, answer carefully.

鹹蛋Cornflakes／Salted Egg Yolk Cornflakes／Cornflakes con Yema de Huevo Salado

最近，鹹蛋魚皮是馬來西亞和新加坡很紅的零食，今年的華人農曆新年出現了廉價版，以玉米片(cornflakes)代替魚皮，一樣那麼美味。我超喜歡但台灣沒有，所以只好自己做，幸好並不難。

Recently, fish skin with salted egg yolk is a popular snack in Malaysia, also Singapore. This Chinese New Year, there is a cheaper version, substituting the fish skin for cornflakes. It’s just as delicious. I like it a lot but I can’t get it in Taiwan. So, I need to make it at home. Luckily, it’s not hard.

步驟／Steps／Pasos

把鹹蛋黃壓碎，把有鹽奶油溶化。

Smash the salted egg yolk. Melt the salted butter in a pan.

Aplastar la yema de huevo salado. Derretir la mantequilla salada en una sartén.

倒入壓碎的鹹蛋黃，炒至起沙。

Put the smashed egg yolk into the butter. Sauté the egg yolk until it becomes creamy.

Poner la yema aplastada en la mantequilla. Saltear la yema hasta que esté cremosa.

加入咖哩菜炒香。

Put the curry leaves in and sauté until it smile fragrant.

Poner las hojas de curri y saltear hasta que esté fragante.

加入切碎的小辣椒炒香。

Add the chopped bird eye chili and keep sauté.

Poner el chile pequeño picado y saltear.

加入細砂糖和鹽，約半茶匙，炒至溶化。

Add the sugar and some salt, about 1/2 teaspoon, and sauté until it dissolved.

Poner el ázucar y un poco de sal, aproximádamente 1/2 cucharilla. Saltear hasta disolver.

倒入玉米片(cornflakes)小火炒勻。

Pour in the cornflakes and mix them evenly in low heat.

Poner los cornflakes y mezclar con fuego lento hasta que todo esté uniforme.

放涼再裝罐密封。

Cool before seal tightly.

Enfriar antes de conservar y sellar herméticamente.

如果不要辣，就不要加辣椒。

If you don’t want the spicy taste, don’t put the chili.

Si no quieres picante, no pongas el chile.

Nasi Lemak

椰漿飯是馬來西亞的全民餐點，到處都可以看到，從菜市場到餐廳。有的椰漿飯配上不同的肉類，會比較貴。基本的椰漿飯便宜且普遍，只有參巴醬(sambal)、水煮蛋、花生和小黃瓜。在菜市場，人們會用香蕉葉和紙張包裹椰漿飯。飯是用椰漿煮的，因此才叫椰漿飯，參巴醬是辣的，通常是用江魚仔煮的。

Rice in coconut milk is national food of Malaysia. We can find it everywhere, from market to restaurants. There are nasi lemak with variety of meat and more expensive. Simple nasi lemak, with sambal, egg, peanuts and cucumber only, is cheap and common. At the market, venders wrap it with banana leaf and paper. The rice is cooked with coconut milk. So, it is called rice in coconut milk. The sambal is spicy. Normally, it is cooked with anchovies.

Arroz en crema es una comida nacional de Malasia. La encontramos en todos los lugares, desde mercado hasta restaurantes. Hay nasi lemak con varias carnes y más caro. Nasi lemak simple, solamente con sambal, huevo, cacahuate y pepino es barato y común. En mercados, la gente lo envuelve con hoja de banana y papel. El arroz se cocina con leche de coco, por eso es arroz en crema. El sambal es picante, normalmente se cocina con anchoa.

Satay

馬來西亞的肉串，也叫沙爹，約RM1一串，牛肉的比較貴。如果老闆是回教徒，則沒有買豬肉。我們會配有辣味的沙爹醬－bumbu。沙爹是很受歡迎的食物，大家都喜歡。

Grilled skewer of Malaysia, is about RM1 per skewer. Beef is more expensive. If the vender is a muslim, there won’t sell pork. We eat satay with spicy sauce, which is called bumbu. Satay is a famous dish and everyone loves it.

馬來西亞的烤麵包是馬來西亞人的日常小吃，塗上奶油（或人造奶油或乳瑪琳）、砂糖和咖央（kaya是用椰漿做成的抹醬），再對折起來。我們會配咖啡、茶或可可飲食用。

The toast of Malaysia is a basic snack for Malaysians. Put some butter (or margarine), sugar and kaya (coconut jam) on it, then fold it. We eat it with coffee, tea o chocolate.

Rempah Udang & Kuih Talam

Rempah Udang

這些是娘惹（馬來文化和華人文化的混合）食物，在菜市場中很普遍。

Rempah Udang是糯米粽包蝦米餡，以香蕉葉包裹。

Kuih是糕的意思，talam是托盤的意思，是一種用粘米粉、薯粉和綠豆粉做的雙層的娘惹糕點。白色部份是混合椰漿，是鹹的。綠色部份是混合了pandan汁，是甜的。

Those are pastry Peranakan (combination of Malay and Chinese culture) and very common in the markets.

Rempah Udang is a glutinous rice tamale with shrimp paste, wrapped in banana leaf.

Kuih means cake, talam means tray. It is a Peranakan cake with 2 layers, made of rice flour, tapioca and mung bean. The white layer is mixed with coconut milk, is salty. The green layer is mixed with pandan juice, is sweet.

Rempah undang es un tamal de arroz glutinoso con pasta de camarones, envuelto con hoja de banana.

Kuih significa bizcocho, talam significa bandeja. Es un bizcocho Peranakan con 2 capas, está hecho de harina de arroz, tapioca y frijol mungo. La capa blanca se mezcla con la leche de coco, es salada. La capa verde se mezcla con jugo de pandan, es dulce.

Roti Canai

也叫roti prata，是馬來西亞有名的mamak（印度回教徒）食物，是一種印度麵包，全天候都能吃，我們通常配印度咖哩或是sambal吃。

Also called roti prata, is a famous mamak (Indian muslim) dish in Malaysia. It’s a type of Indian bread, for all day. Normally, we eat it with Indian curry or sambal.

También roti prata, es una comida mamak (India musulmanes) famosa en Malasia. Es un tipo de pan indio, se come todo el día. Normalmente comimos con curry indio o sambal.

Onde Onde

也叫klepon，是一種由糯米粉做的點心，裡面包了椰糖，外面裹上椰絲。有許多顏色，綠色是混了pandan汁，橘色是混了蕃薯。

Also called klepon, is a glutinous rice pastry with coconut suger in the middle and coconut stripes on the outside. There are many colours. Green is pandan, orange is sweet potato.

También klepon, es un postre de arroz glutinoso con azúcar de coco dentro y rayas de coco fuera. Hay muchos colores, verde es pandan, naranja es camote.

Laksa

Ipoh Laksa

在馬來西亞有很多種laksa（叻沙），各州有自己的版本和不同的味道。怡保的laksa是瀨粉（米做的麵）配上又酸又辣的湯，其他地方，還有咖哩laksa和asam laksa，咖哩laksa有點像咖哩，asam laksa則比較酸。檳城的laksa很有名。

There are various laksa in Malaysia. Every state has its style and different flavour. Ipoh laksa is sour and spicy with thick noodle, made of rice. Other places, there are curry laksa and asam laksa. Curry laksa is similar to curry and asam laksa is sourer. Penang laksa is very famous.
