墨西哥酥餅／Quesadilla

Quesadilla(發音：給薩迪亞)是西班牙文，是一種源自墨西哥的食物，目前也沒有標準的中文名稱，有人稱它為墨西哥酥餅、墨西哥煎餅、墨西哥xx(食材名稱)餅等等。通常是把tortilla折一半包饀，乳酪是基本材料。不同地區的quesadilla有不同的變化，在台灣，美國式的quesadilla比較普遍，包雞肉、酪梨醬guacamole、鹹紅豆泥frijoles等。

Quesadilla is Mexican food. Usually, it is a tortilla with filling and folded into half. Cheese is the basic ingredient. There are variety of quesadilla. In Taiwan, Tex-Mex style is more popular, stuffed with chicken, guacamole, frijoles etc.

La quesadilla es una comida de México. Generalmente, es una tortilla doblada por la mitad con rellenos. Queso es el ingrediente principal para los rellenos. Hay muchas variedades. En Taiwán, el estilo de Estados Unidos es más común. Se rellena con pollo, guacamole, frijoles etc.

什麼是tortilla？
Tortilla(發音：多兒迪亞)是西班牙文，可以指多種很不同的食物，在不同的拉丁美洲國家是不同的食物。我用的是墨西哥、美國和其他英語國家所謂的tortilla，目前也沒有標準的中文名稱，有人稱它為墨西哥薄餅、墨西哥玉米餅、墨西哥圓餅等，用小麥粉做的則flour tortilla(西文：tortillas de harina de trigo.)則是麵粉薄餅。

Tortilla (pronounced as tor-ti-ya) is a Spanish word. It is a name for many food. I refers to different food in different countries. The tortilla I used is so-called tortilla in Mexico, the United States and other English-speaking countries. Usually, it’s made from maize. There is tortilla that made from wheat flour and it is called flour tortilla.

上星期五做了一些豬肉餡，把洋蔥末炒香加入豬肉碎和taco粉炒，再加水煮乾就可以了。

I made some pork filling. Fried some onion with minced pork and taco powder. Put some water. Cooked until it dried.

Hice un poco de relleno de cerdo. Freí unas cebollas con carne picada de cerdo y un poco de condimento . Puse un poco de agua. Lo cociné hasta que estuvo seco.

做quesadilla很簡單，把tortilla(我用flour tortilla)放在平底鍋烤热，把豬肉餡鋪在tortilla上，一半就好，不用全鋪，再鋪上一層cheese，將空白的一半折向有料的那邊，形成半圓形，加热至cheese溶化就可以了。

It is very easy to make a quesadilla. Heaten the tortilla (I used flour tortilla) in a pan. Spread out the pork filling on half of the tortilla. Then sprinkle some cheese on it. Fold it into half. Heaten until the cheese melted. And it’s done.

Hacer una quesadilla es fácil. Calentar una tortilla (usé tortilla de trigo) en el sartén. Poner el relleno de cerdo por la mitad. Poner el queso encima. Doblar por la mitad. Cuando el queso se derrité, esta bien para comer.

我也做了一些酪梨醬guacamole的quesadilla，如果加上sour cream，會更好吃。

I made some quesadilla filled with guacamole too. It’d be better to add some sour cream.

Hice unas quesadillas con guacamole también. Es mejor poner un poco de crema agria con guacamole.

The tortilla and taco powder I used were bought in Costco. They can be found in City’s Super too.
